What went well?
Most of the project went well. I did not run into many problems. The instructions were clear and helpful. Even though this was a more unique kind of bag it was fairly easy to make and I am super happy about the outcome.
Things I have learned to help others avoid mistakes…
Make sure that you know what kind of interfacing to get. Also try your best to get the first lining centered on the zipper. Than make sure you try to get the other linings lined up with that first one. Try to leave little give. from experience, my fabric bunched up and anded up being closer to the side I ended on than started on.
Skill level needed?
I would personally not consider my self a beginner. I have been sewing for a while and I found this project to be fairly easy. I would say intermediate. There are some steps that are a little challenging. I definitely wouldn’t consider it to be a beginner project. there are some tricky steps.
